Hugi continues her uncomfortable journey on a cold slushy day (see clip directly below) with her cast sock getting wetter and dirtier because the half shoe she needs to accommodate her cast has no bottom. She has changed to a sneaker which is more comfortable in one sense, but it means her orthopedic shoe heel on her cast leg is now higher, so gimping is more awkward and she must lean heavily on her cane.
