Sentina is walking in the rain with a very sensible shoe and stocking. The problem is her other leg is casted and she can feel the wet dirty pavement underneath her partially exposed soles and toes. It's a really icky feeling and she wants to get out of the rain. After gimping up stairs she finds the cafe she is trying to escape into is closed for cleaning so she struggles up the stairs to her apartment, and self-consciously passes folks checking out her casted foot and wet exposed toes.
