Stella wants to see if she can walk longer distances in her term LLC without the aid of crutches. She's got a cast shoe on to help her get around, but her toes stick out of it and she's had to cut off her jeans leg to accommodate her cast. Walking Is much tougher than she thought it would be as well. She has to gimp with her stiff casted leg out to the side, but this unbalances her weight and she finds she need to prop her cast leg up to relieve the pressure on it.
