Poor Zazie is wondering how she will ever walk after her accident has left her with two full leg casts separated by a bar between them keeping her stiff legs spread. She'd been in a wheelchair for weeks and is dying to reclaim her mobility, even if it is on crutches. So she enlists her friend to help in her mobility struggles. Her friend helps her strap on her ugly open toed cast shoes because she will need them to get around and not damage her cast and they are the only footwear she can get over her cast.
