She pulls her mismatched cast shoe off completely because she won't need a shoe on her cast foot if she'll be wheeling and prefers to have her toes free so she can wiggle them in a cast that completely constricts the rest of her leg So she rolls ot in public trying to avoid other folks and navigating up ramps to get to work by herself. When she gets to work she lifts herself out of the wheelchair and into her office chair without the aid of her crutches which she left at home.
