A spark of defiance ignited, and he found himself stepping forward, chin raised defiantly. "You may have my money," he said, his voice steady despite the tremor in his chest, "but you'll never have my dignity."
The sisters exchanged a glance, a knowing smirk passing between them. SeeChelle's lips curled into a cruel smile. "Oh, we'll take that from you too," she said, her voice dripping with malice.
