April loves her new neighborhood and has become close with all of her new neighbors. Every evening she goes for a stroll and ends up speaking to nearly everyone in the neighborhood.
She has been waiting for a callback from an interview she has last week. Her hair is frazzled, no make up and looking quite stressed she realizes that she has left her phone outside on her deck. She was just getting ready to hop in the shower so she is completely naked, but she is positive she can just grab her phone and be back inside before anyone notices.
She sneaks outdoors when suddenly the closes. Living alone April has made sure that her doors automatically lock when they are closed. Safety first, right?
She sneaks back to the door and tries to rattle the handle to see if she can unlock it but is unsuccessful. Panic and fear set in as she realizes that she is totally butt naked outside on her front deck. Fidgeting and even biting on her fingernails at times, humiliated April suddenly hears something! Oh no! It’s the trash truck. She quickly ducks down behind a patio chair and prays that they don’t see her totally naked. Some times goes by and she is still stranded on her deck in the buff. She is a nervous wreck and doesn’t know how or if she will be able to fix the horrible humiliating situation she has gotten herself into. She JUST moved into this neighborhood, the last thing she wants is for everyone to see her butt naked !
The doorbell rings and it is her friendly delivery man. She always visits with him and shows him good ole southern hospitality, but today, right now, she feels down and asks him if he can help her out this time by not having her sign. She then yells down that she can just go pick up the package in town if need be.
April makes her way to her patio couch and snatches up the throw pillows to use as cover when she hears her nosey neighbor knocking on her door while trying to open it to come in. She could swear that she heard someone unlock it with a key...but... surely she is the only one with a key, right?
Her friend yells up relentless explaining that the Home Association has made a surprise visit and would like to talk to her. Suddenly April hears footsteps coming up the staircase and her nosy neighbor Millie explains that she let them in and they were on their way up to see her right now.
She is now face to face with all 15 members of her Housing Association and is turning red and blushing. The pillows are barely covering her and some of the older members look like they could fall out right there on her deck! April begs them to come back another time, but her pleas are falling on def ears. Nervous, humiliated and so ashamed she could almost melt into the floor of her hot deck, April says she doesn’t feel well and she just can’t show them around the house right now.
Soon she realizes that there is NO getting out of this embarrassing situation, she comes up with the excuse that she has a brand new strapless romper that she doesn’t want anyone else to see. She then says if they turn around she will just walk around for a very brief show of her home. She begins sashaying through her doors when suddenly she hears “SURPRISE”. Her entire neighborhood has surprised her with a welcoming party and as soon as she hears the words she accidentally raises her arms and the pillows fall to the floor.
