Batgirl, Cali, comes to Alexis Valerie's talk show to do an interview. Cali becomes entranced by Alexis' bracelet and she becomes mesmerized by it. Valerie knows this is to happen. Cali comes back for a second and she gets pointed right back to the bracelet. Valerie has Batgirl right where she wants her. Valerie makes Batgirl stand up and has her say that she is under Valerie's control. Valerie tells Batgirl that she is going to snap her fingers and she is going to be completley aware of what's going on but will still be under her control.
