Batgirl once again falls into the hands of a nefarious supervillain. This time, its Mindra who sets the naiive up for disaster, luring her to her lair with the false hope of recovering some stolen jewels.

Batgirl busts in the door demanding justice as Mindra just laughs. Batgirl proudly states that her mind tricks will not work on such a strong psyche- and Mindra knows this, which is why she devised a much more clever plan today. She produces a voodoo doll and waves it in front of Batgirl who suddenly begins to feel stiff.
