Supergirl is on the hunt for a powerful and dangerous villain named Mentallica. She has wandered into an abandoned building after receiving a clue that this might be her hideout. Upon arrival, Supergirl finds a woman innocently practicing piano and asks for assistance. Before she knows what hit her, the woman begins to entrance her...telling Supergirl to stare deep into her eyes. Supergirl tries to fight the spell, but her eyelids begin to feel heavy and she can not ignore the mesmerizing sound of the woman's voice. By the time Supergirl figures out that she is, indeed, face to face with Mentallica herself, its too late. She has fallen into the trap of this evil vixen. Mentallica places some final suggestions in the superheroine's mind before waking her up with no recollection of what just occurred. Supergirl leaves lost and confused. The next day Keri Spectrum waits for a friend at a pub when Mentallica approaches to greet her. She suspects Keri is Supergirl and quicly pulls out a pendulum, easily pulling her into a deep trance. To confirm her suspicions, Mentallica tells the girl to transform and she does as commanded. She then takes some photos of her new toy and brings her back to the lair for some additional training.
