She reaches up and turns the ignition switch on the SUV. She steps on the break and shifts the truck into reverse. She slides her foot over to the gas pedal accelerating hard and finds out that the truck isn't going anywhere. So for the next three minutes she keeps on shifting the truck in to drive and then into reverse. While she is working her now extremely muddy Charles David shoes back and forth between the gas pedal and brake pedal.
