Wow! I can sure cough up a lot of gooey phlegm when I chain smoke two cigarettes outdoors in the cold winter. Clearing out my smoker's lungs first thing in the morning, my throat seems extra irritated by the smoke and cold air, making me cough more and get rid of the gunk in my lungs that built up overnight in my warm house.
