Candle is meeting her new boss, Nyxon, for the first time and it does not seem to be going well. Nyxon is not impressed with Candle's performance and using some harsh tactics to get her to change her behavior in order to maintain her position in the company.

The first part of the process is a trip. This is completely embarrassing to Candle and she is not comfortable doing this in front of this odd woman. She balks and complains but realizes that she does not really have a choice because she is not going to get a job anywhere else.

The next portion of this horrible meeting involves Nyxon demanding that Candle count off 25 paddlings as Nyxon uses a hard wooden paddle. Poor Candle has a very bright red bottom. Nyxon refuses to give back her clothes and Candle to show her bruised bum (and ego) to the rest of the office in order to further humiliate her.
