Two sixth formers are surprised when their housemaster asks to see them on the last evening of term. He make clear that he thinks both girls are lazy and their chances of getting to university are slipping away. He tells the stunned girls that both will be beaten as a reminder over the holidays that things must change next term. One at a time he gives each girl a sound six of the best then wishes them a good holiday. (CA80)
