Ragweek is the time to raise money but things can get out of control. Ellen and Hermione are amongst the leaders of a stunt to raise money by snatching the college principal. But the college brings in the police and a witch hunt ensues. The 's phone is traced to Hermione, who happens to be in the middle of a tutorial. The dean arrives, sends out their tutor out and tells them that they are in serious trouble. He picks up the tutor's cane and gives each girl ten strokes. As he leaves, he tells them that, if the principal is not found soon, he will be back to beat them again. (CA125)
