Some girls do risk their bottoms. Dr Fordham is receiving a loud wigging from the physics master when Sherringham arrives. He is fed up with her laziness and Dr Fordham promises that her bottom is about to suffer greatly, under the cane. A few days later, Sherringham goes to see Dr Fordham again, this time having poured a large quantity of salt into the coffee machine in the staff common room.
