Dr Doogood is shocked at the behaviour of Lady Randy and her maid. While Lord Randy lies seriously ill in hospital, the ladies are out enjoying themselves, liberated by the his incapacity. The good doctor calls in the two women to discuss their behaviour. He tells them that they will take a sound caning from him or he will inform Lord Randy of the situation.
