In war time London, strict discipline was necessary even for young ladies serving in the Wrens. The temptation to go out and be entertained by all the handsome soldiers back on leave was strong. But the Wrens provided an important service tracking enemy shipping. So when two young wrens overdo the nightlife, their commanding office decides to give them a good thrashing with his whippy cane.
