In the next scene we see Laura still wearing her night robe, tied up on bed hands and feet. and cleave gagged (with stuff)The day couldn't start in a worse way for our P.I.. The guy tells her that she has not to accept the offer and mind her own business. He tells her that he has been paid to just humiliate her and he thinks that it's also fair to rob her of her valuables. It could be a nice touch to destroy her reputation.

When he leaves Laura, after few moments, tries to escape. She's not tied to bed so she can still stand up and hop. She manages to hop to the bathroom, opens a shelf and grabs a pair of scissors. In the next scene we see her with a club in her hand, ready to act. When the hitmen goes into the bathroom she but unfortunately not, on his head but on his shoulder, so, despite the pain he can react and overpower Laura.

Our unlucky detective is then found sitting on chair while the bad guy ties her to it and after she scream some vain menaces she’s also cleave gagged. (with stuff) The guy cheers her threatening her not to meddle with his business. Left alone Laura tries again to escape but she soon realizes that she's not going anywhere. In the meantime the phone rings. Laura cries desperately, especially when she hears the vocal message of Raimondo who says that he has accepted her offer and is waiting for her to finalize the agreement... thing not very easy to do for Laura now that she’s all tied up....
