In part 2, the Buick is still giving them fits as it will not start up. Chris is being told to put his seat belt on so that if step-mom ever gets the car to finally start he will be strapped in. When step-mom manages to get the car started, it stalls right back out on them.

This actually could be good for Chris because if step-mom is unable to get the car started it will mean that he won't have be seen exiting the car & risk it stalling on his step-mom in front of his pals. Lets see what happens. Enjoy!
