Vanessa is in a rush & has no time for the Comets antics. She is in no mood to battle with a car. Unfortunately for her, it's out of her control. She gets in the old Mercury & tries to get it going & realizes that it will not start. She is aggressive immediately with the way that she pumps the pedal, She has somewhere that she needs to be & is already running late.
