Cassie Cummings met Dominique Delirium at a Buffy the Vampire Slayer convention. Being a fan of the show, she thought that Dominique was making a meta statement by attending dressed as a vampire. When they get back to her hotel room, Dominique reveals that they are actually a real vampire and they intend to drain Cassie completely!
