Scene 2: Dorothy's doctor's appointment is today when she will learn when she finally gets out of her Minerva encasing her entire torso and ending at her hips. Her friend is there to help her to crutch awkwardly to the doctor where she can only stand outside his office and wait for the news. Her friend comes out with the bad news, not only won't the cast come off but she needs a new one! Dorothy breaks down and starts crying as her BFF consoles her in the casting room.
Scene 3: Connie is going stir crazy and has to get out of her house even though she is encased literally from toe to chin in plaster! She needs two friends to help her out of her building and down the stairs where she very publicly crutches around stiff as a board and her toes sticking out of both casted legs.
