It's lunch break and Beatrice is out gimping in a single heel and LLWC with her co-worker Elise who is helping her get down stairs where they work at the national theater in her stiff legged condition. The weather has just gotten warm and Beatrice's casted foot is beginning to heat up in her cast even though her toes are cold. She comments about this to Elise and as they pass a fountain Elise decides to help by sprinkling cool water on her bare toes. Later as they rest on the stairs Elise tries to buck up her friend's spirits by drawing on her pristine white cast.
