Beatrice is out crutching on her casted gimpy foot with a sock to cover her exposed casted toes. She's having difficulty and wants to use her casted foot to walk. So she visits her friend who has a cast shoe from her previous broken leg experience. She helps Beatrice put it on but it's only half a shoe so she still needs a sock to cover her casted toes. She also still needs to use one crutch to walk. After a while though her exposed sock gets dirty.
