Beatrice is having trouble after days of gimping on her stiff long leg cast with the unbalanced heel, she can't move her knee or ankle and its too tiring lugging her plaster leg around. She hates the crutches and chucked them out. Now she regrets that decision and she can't deal with the discomfort of gimping any more on her half casted half bare foot. Her friend has a pair of old crutches and has offered them to Beatrice if she is willing to meet her at a plaza near where she works to pick them up. Beatrice readily agrees.
