Connie was always self-conscious about her big feet. After her accident she is even more self-conscious walking around with only one shoe while her other half naked foot is hanging out of a large plaster cast on an unbalanced heel. Still her friend manages to coax her out for a gimp around the promenade on a nice spring day.
