When Eve decided she'd finally go out in public to meet her with her annoying leg cast on she thought brunch at a lakeside cafe would take her mind of her bulky cast and half naked foot sticking out of it. What she forgot all about was the difficult terrain she'd have to deal with on one bad, vulnerable foot -- even using a single crutch for balance. When Eve decided she'd finally go out in public to meet her with her annoying leg cast on she thought brunch at a lakeside cafe would take her mind of her bulky cast and half naked foot sticking out of it. What she forgot all about was the difficult terrain she'd have to deal with on one bad, vulnerable foot -- even using a single crutch for balance. Unfortunately the lakeside cafe her friend chose is at the bottom of a steep hill with a dirt path full of small sharp pebbles! By the time she gets down to her friend her poor foot is pretty beat up and she must prop it up on a chair and wiggle her toes (extended closeup scenes) to relieve the aching pain. Her friend offers to sign her cast to take her mind off her cast foot. After some rest and food Eve is reluctant to leave the cafe. After all, now the climb is *uphill* on the same sharp rocky, dirty path. But she has no choice and at least her friend is there for moral support as she struggles up the steeply inclined path to street level again.
