She takes Hanga to a picturesque lake side cafe that's very difficult to get to requiring Hanga, still unsteady on her crutches, to go down rest slopes, navigate around sharp gravel with her exposed toes and manage rickety stairs. When it all gets too much they decide to leave and Hanga once again has to manage stairs and this time crutch back up the steep slope. What are friends for?
