She calls her friend and asks her to come over for some emotional support and some help. Her friend sees the state Lois is in and the first things she does to cheer her up is to remove thge excess plaster from Lois's exposed casted toes with a soothing cool damp towel. Loius wonders how she will ever get her new Jeans on. However for added maneuverability she proceeds to use a scissor over Lois mild protests to cut the jeans leg off her casted leg entirely from the knee. Finally she and Lois draw some designs on the cast to make it look more interesting.
