Norah gimps home in the rain in her llc with toeplate and struggles up the *many* flights of stairs to her apartment. When she finally gets there she goes out to the patio where she props up her long cast to wiggle her toes, and then putters around, watering her plants, fixing the awning and then stopping to pull off her one good sneaker to massage her long pretty toes.
