Rita is gimping along with her friend on a winter day, her toes hanging out of plaster cast. They have been window shopping on the promenade. They are supposed to be going out tonight but Rita wonders how she'll ever manage in a single unbalanced heel to match her lil black dress and her toes obviously hanging out of her plaster cast.
