STILL resisting the warmth of the holidays, I decide to have her join me in a festive round of caroling, making her sing along as best she can. Finally, I realize that she needs to learn the TRUE meaning of the season by giving to others instead of focusing on herself, so I decide to make her a gift for a dear friend of mine! He's DELIGHTED at his present, especially her bare feet which wiggle helplessly, but he has a problem. He can't transport a package that big until he gets his truck back after the New Year, so for the time being, she's going to have to stay with me. Of course, it would be rude to unwrap another man's gift, so she'll have to remain all wrapped up for a few days!
