He leaves the scissors behind, inches away from the desperate girl, but they may as well be on the dark side of the moon for all the good they'll do her! Still, she tries to slowly with her way over to them, her face flushed with the hope of escape (or is it simply exertion from her struggles). The captor returns and mockingly tapes the scissors to the sofa, inches above the ground, her to ever so slowly squirm her way back if she wants a chance at freedom. Even after she makes it back, the scissors are no more than a constant tease! Yup, this was her first mummification, and it looks like it's going to last a long, long time!
