This video is the result of a custom request. I was commissioned to film myself using one of my respirators while partaking in an activity that requires the use of one. So here I am using a powdered agent to lift colour from a textile ahead of dyeing it.

This video is the result of a custom request. I was commissioned to film myself using one of my respirators while partaking in an activity that requires the use of one. So here I am using a powdered agent to lift colour from a textile ahead of dyeing it.

I put on a respirator, my North Safety 5500 Series Half Mask Respirator, securing it tightly and then I pull on some heavy kitchen dishwashing gloves. Throughout the video I explain what I am doing and what is happening by narrating the process.

I thought I'd share it here in the event that anyone else might enjoy it.
