A petty purloiner (Jade) scores big when she absconds with a package she was dispatched to procure - or so she thinks. Eager to partake of her prize, she opens the hinged box, retrieving its contents with wide-eyed awe and wonderment - a glistening, obsidian orb that shimmers, almost seemingly, with a life of its own.
