Mayla nel frattempo prende il mio cellulare e chiama mia moglie, le dice che sono stato destinato ad una missione sotto copertura e che non ho potuto avvertirla, la rassicura dicendo che sarò una cosa lunga e di non preoccuparsi se non sentirà mie notizie per molto tempo. Riaggancia e ridendo assicura alla complice che nessuno verrà a cercarmi. Non ho vie di scampo. Le due criminali mi hanno legato e si divertono terrorizzandomi. Mi dicono che non ho possibilità di fuga e che è inutile che speri di salvarmi perchè ormai conosco le loro identità. Sono obbligate a soffocarmi! Si avvicinano e cominciano a chiudermi il naso stringendolo tra le dita. Mayla prende il telefono e chiama il leader dell'organizzazione, dice che la missione è compiuta e che tra pochi minuti si saranno sbarazzate di me, ma riceve un contrordine: il leader è convinto che i miei parenti pagheranno bene per il riscatto quindi ordina alle due di portarmi da loro. Valerie mi dà una pillola e mi obbliga ad ingerirla. Dice che non si tratta di un veleno, ma serve solo per stordirmi, non vogliono certo che mi venga in mente di scappare... Ora mi porteranno al quartier generale spacciandosi per dolci fanciulle che aiutano un pover uomo a ritrovare la strada verso casa. Cosi mentre il farmaco fa effetto, Mayla continua a tenermi ben chiusa la bocca con le sue mani, poi mi trascinano sorreggendomi da ambo i lati fin fuori dall'appartamento. Non posso reagire, mi sento privo di forze ed intontito, sono nelle loro mani...
