The slave is being by Mistress Lisa and her whips. She is annoyed of him every time she sees him so it's very easy for her to get so angry that she grabs a nearby whip, shouts at him to turn to the wall, or ties him up and beats him with the whips until his whole back is red and full of stripes. She talks to him and makes fun of him with her painful words too.
