I am getting over a cold, and I feel like I might be getting bronchitis. I know that smoke can dilate bronchial tubes so I figure it's worth a shot. I take a big toke off of my pipe and immediately start coughing. I feel phlegm rising in my throat but don't have anything to spit in so I turn sideways and spit into the glass bowl on the floor. My coughing continues deep and raw, as I hack and turn red from the spasms of the deep cough, spitting globs of chunky mucus out as I gasp for air.
