I have a terrible sinus infection and no amount of blowing my nose can get all of the gunky mucus in my sinuses. I blow into a tissue and show you the slippery snot, and then I progress to using a neti to irrigate my sinuses. I insert the spout into each nostril and let the saline water flow through my nose and passages into a glass bowl. I blow as hard as I can over the bowl to get all of the water and sick funk out. I show you the water in the bowl after I'm done so you can see how stuffy & sick I am.
