Leila Hazlett is walking barefoot in a marsh to get to the beach. Leila isn't sure she is going the right way and certainly doesn't remember it being so muddy which is why she didn't bother wearing shoes. Her bare feet get sucked into the soft mud and after a wrong step she gets both her legs stuck knee deep in mud. She struggles and manages to get her legs free fairly quickly and keeps going thinking the mud can't get worse.
