Leila Hazlett is out in the woods at night to retrieve her very personal diary that her ex-boyfriend stole. The letter from her ex tells her where the diary is and warns her about the dangers in the area like snakes and quicksand. Leila sees the chest that contains her diary but as she walks towards it her foot sinks into the ground. She pulls her foot out and uses a stick to see how deep the quicksand is.
