My naughty, smart-mouthed nephew is at it again - this time refusing to go to school, claiming that he is 'sick'. I don't buy this for a minute and tell him that I'm going to find out just how sick he really is...he'll be temp-checked and spanked severely until he admits that he's lying.

Because this boy is SO hard-headed, he's not quick to admit his lie, so I take his temp over and over, first with the regular themometer and then with the Big Boy Thermometer - even using 'vapor rub' once to really get him squirming.
