Dixie and her step-sister haven't spoken in years-one day out of the blue she gets an invite from her step-sister's husband to come over for dinner. Dixie is greeted by her step-brother-in-law, Nate, and they have a seat on the couch. This is the first time they've met one another and Dixie is surprised that her step-sister wasn't there to greet her. Dixie asks where she is and Nate tells her she went out to get some and that she'll be back soon...in the meantime he's gonna make them a while they wait for her.
