I do an annual spring clean and stocktake of my 'special' wardrobe, which is housed in a box room of my home. It takes a week from start to finish as I have built up quite a number of collections over the years. This is my first time to actually film and share some of that process, simply a focus on the boots, for boot lovers. Some of these boots are still new in the box, with stickers still on soles, while others have been well worn. Indeed, the final two pairs have perished in storage, and need to be sent to a retirement home in which they will be worshipped. The same can be said of the Falke pantyhose that were snagged multiple times in the epic trying on of all of these boots. I check the boots for signs of wear and tear, for repair or replacement, and also for sale or donation. I am not a brand snob or follower of the latest trend, and so I own a diverse range from high street brands to designer names, typically from 3" to 6" high heels. Some of these boots were gifts from devotees, and some inherited or vintage purchases, with prices ranging from £10 to a £1000 per pair. Though you will see that I do have a preference for Victorian, equestrian and military styles of boot, particularly in black leather or patent leather. I have petite feet, size 2.5 UK /35 EU /5 US, which is a blessing and a curse, as this is not a standard size here in the UK, and so I really do have to hunt them down, mainly online and European. This is an edited version of my 'to the knee' boot collection of over 30 pairs, as the full-length version is filmed over an entire afternoon. I provide basic details of each pair of boots I wear, though one or two might be missing in this edited version. In this film, I am wearing a vintage velvet hat, silk blouse by Jaeger, leather skirt by Benetton, Falke pantyhose, and Christian Dior gloves. There is an 'over the knee' (OTK) boot collection film to follow, which is a spectacular collection. I also have a 'flats' collection of practical boots for riding, walking, and rain. And then there are shoes... Furthermore, there are collections of vintage hats, gloves, scarves, handbags and jewellery. And then there is the leather and rubber clothing, and then there is the lingerie...
