Despite pathetic pleadings, Timmy is getting his comeuppance. Melted, abandoned into this gruesome punishment, he learns of a very real and heavy natural order. Obedience is his path. And Miss Martinet in her gracious oversight, builds his character through agony. He suffers, he grows. Again and again. Ad infinitum.
