When I started shooting I expected that amateur models would be more fun to film. Not being accustomed to heavy bondage, I thought that their reactions would be authentic whereas professional models would just be acting. Yet I jumped at the chance to work with the beautiful Kobe Lee when the opportunity presented itself, and it was during this shoot that I realized that there is something special about this particular rigging that flusters even seasoned bondage models. The restraints are impossible to escape, but allow just enough movement in the arms and legs to engender false hope. This encourages struggling, but the failure to progress provokes them to struggle even harder. We believe that fear induces struggling, but the James-Lange theory of psychology suggests that struggling induces fear. Get the model to struggle hard and the associated emotions will follow. Kobe begins this clip by playing the role of a victim who wakes up in a straitjacket. She moves like a bondage model and vocalizes like a bondage model. The acting is short-lived. Soon she goes uncharacteristically muted and becomes wholly fixated on her restraints. She twists and kicks and fights in exasperation. Watch her transform from a bondage model putting on a show to a real woman trapped in real, inescapable bondage. Despite brief edits Kobe really was trapped in the straitjacket the entire time. Do you have any idea how frustrating it is to be trapped in this configuration? It grows exponentially with each passing minute.
