Ivy's nerdy step-sister 'Kitty' has been spying on Ivy for some months and is mega-curious about what the Hex would feel like. When Ivy goes on vacation, the stepbrother thinks he is safe for a bit, because the Hex can't activate without proximity between those involved in it. Cunning Kitty however, has taken some of Ivy's hair from her brush and made a mild poly-juice potion designed to con the Hex into thinking that SHE is Ivy.
