One of the kitchen slaves, however, deserves to be punished tonight - he cut the pineapple that was brought to the table, but he didn't cut the core out. What was he thinking? Are We supposed to eat the core too? I don't know, maybe the slaves eat the whole pineapple (when they are allowed such a delicacy), but for Our table he should bring only the good parts. Well, since he made a mistake with the pineapple - he will be punished with it. As you probably know, the pineapple contains an enzyme that breaks down protein. That is the reason your tongue hurts when you eat too much of it. Now imagine how that feels on an open wound... This is exactly what the stupid slave will find out tonight, on his own skin.
