I open the door to the Monte Carlo and slide into the driver's seat while talking to my friend on the phone. We're going to grab a quick bite of lunch, so I am dressed casually in jeans, a brown shirt, and my dark brown Swedish clogs. I turn the key over once or twice and give it some gas, but it doesn't start. I tell her I'll be there in 20 minutes and hang up the phone. I get it started, briefly, about halfway through the clip, but it quickly . I pump the gas really fast, sometimes using my whole leg to pump it.
